Succinic acid was first obtained in the 16th century. Initially, succinic acid was synthesizedfrom amber. In modern cosmetology, succinic acid is obtained by fermentation.

â–  Succinic acid is a natural substance – it is synthesized in the body and takes part inthe production of energy in cells. Well tolerated by the skin.
